NingXia Red? Wolfberries? Nitro?

Everyone is talking about the Wolfberry and all its benefits. What is it, why do I need it and where do I get it?

What in the world is NingXia Red? NingXia Red combines the extraordinary wolfberry superfruit with pure orange, yuzu, lemon, and tangerine essential oils {containing powerful constituent d-limonene…google it!}, along with blueberry, aronia, cherry, pomegranate, and plum juices to deliver a whole-body nutrient infusion.  This powerful formula includes wolfberry, which is touted for its health-supporting benefits, while ongoing research continues to reveal exciting new properties on this ingredient.

Why NingXia Red? Young Living harvests its wolfberries from the NingXia province in China and it is red,  so that’s why it is called NingXia Red. Fun Fact The reference for Ningxia as the authentic origin of wolfberry can be traced back to the Compendium of Materia Medica. This traditional knowledge has been confirmed by modern analysis; as it has been demonstrated that wolfberry from Ningxia contains higher amounts of active ingredients and nutrients (Wang 2003; Li and Zhang 2007).

Oxidative stress (OS) is essentially an imbalance between the production of free radicals (FR) and the ability of the body to counteract or detoxify their harmful effects through neutralization by antioxidants. A FR is an oxygen containing molecule that has one or more unpaired electrons, making it highly reactive with other molecules. FR’s being highly reactive in a bad way makes the need for me to take them out very important to me. (We all need a body guard who helps keep away the FR’s causing the OS on our bodies) *

10. It is a healthy daily supplement* that fortifies and revitalizes the body.

Updates on the Family

We enjoyed December immensely. Christmas was celebrated with a large family gathering and a mini road trip with the grandchildren to Historic Charlton Park’s turn-of-the-century village where Christmas Past is celebrated! We saw so many friends and family members home for the holidays. Our home is drop in central. There is always coffee, good food and wonderful times to be had. New years Eve brought a romantic dinner for two and watching the ball drop at midnight.

January brought snowmobiles and sledding. We went through the lavender infused hot chocolate. A lot of family time with our youngest son and his family. A week down in sunny Florida on Marco Island. Boat hopping to the various islands and dolphin watching. A day with my cousin and her family who live in Florida.

January-March brought no results in our efforts to see one of our 8 year old grandsons. That is an ongoing effort. We have court ordered visitation but his mother continues to deny the visits. Michigan needs to recognize grandchildren’s rights. Their right to have happy healthy relationships with their extended families and our fight would be easier. We will keep on though because family is very important to us.

February brought the most beautiful flower arrangement from my husband for Valentines day and an evening out for dinner.  It also brought us to the Sand Hill Café, on many Monday and Thursday nights for fun, food and family time with Scott, Deb, Judy and Kathy.

March has brought me to reflecting on my health and fitness goals. Getting my garden mapped and planting more of my seedling starts. Spring cleaning routines.  Our grand daughters first concert. She plays the oboe. Then dinner out with their family and friends that are like family (the daughter in laws grandparents). New pictures of our newest grandchild.

It has been a busy few months.

Changes over the summer

It has been a summer filled with deeply felt losses, an amazing newborn grandson and many activities and accomplishments. Below are some of our highlights.

Introducing Gavin Fewless – he was born the day before his big brothers birthday. What a gift. Shawn is so in love with Gavin and being a big brother. Mom, Dad and boys all doing well. Their family has moved into the new place and are loving it!

Update on our princess Marissa. As you know she was headed to Las Vegas this summer for the National Cheer Competitions and they placed 3rd. We are so very proud of them!

Just a few family updates

Our court battle over our grandson Shawn Patrick has hopefully finally come to an end. We should have a new court order in our hands shortly. Praise Jesus!

Our Rissa has worked very hard to increase her abilities and she and her cheer squad have made Nationals! While waiting for that competition in July of 2017 they have again qualified to return to State level. That means they are on the path to return to Nationals again in 2018.

Our Kevin & Wayne have completed their wrestling seasons and have both moved on to the All American pastime of Ball! It was just last year that Wayne watched his big brother and tried to climb the fence to follow in his footsteps on the field. Now he is in a uniform of his own. Kevin has become a force to reckon with on the field. It is such a joy having them home in Michigan. To be able to go and sit in the stands with their other grand parents from Katelin’s family and cheer them on.

Katelin has finished another term of college and is moving ever closer to her degree.

Wayne is doing well and moving ever closer to his goals with his career.

Joe is expecting his 2nd child in late August.

Ashley & Vic have gotten engaged to be married. Date to be announced. Codi is turning 16 this year so it is a big year for her and Parker has excelled with having Vic in his life. Dirt bikes and working on cars have become a new passion for him.

Justin does not make it back often but is excelling in his chosen career and has breezed through his testing. It is however not over yet.

Those are the updates on our birth children and those shared with us from another mother. We have been blessed.

A few pics to follow.

Photos from the past 3 months.

The Fewless Family around Christmas, gathering at a bowling alley for fun and family time. We missed Brian & Debs family. They were unable to make it in from the west coast. We had Grandpa and Grandma from Oregon and Aunt Kristen, Emma & Nate for the East Coast. Matt & family from Indiana, and the rest of us that could make it are here all over Michigan.  family-pic

Here we are having a sled day. Aunt Kristen, Emma & Nate will be out soon to hit the trails. In the meantime Shawn Patrick is wanting to make sure he gets to help get them out and warmed up. He is one of the grandchildren that love being Pop Pops Partners when it comes to anything outdoors with an engine.
